The FAS Training Fire Science program offers a dual approach to training in the firefighting field with foundational instruction for the new recruit and professional programs for current firefighters seeking job promotions. Highly qualified and experienced instructors guide you to success in learning the specialized knowledge required of firefighters. NPC’s program has been awarded Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) recognition, meaning students are certified.

the FAS International in Taylor. The center features a burn tower, flash chamber, ventilation training trailer and 10-acre defensive driving track where live-training classes are conducted in a “fire academy” setting. Uniformed students train in teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness.
